Born in 1957, she studied economics at the WU in Vienna and wrote her PhD in the area of organizational development. Since 1982, she has obtained extra-occupational training in social skills and management as well as an in-house training as a consultant at Diebold. Further trainings include systems management, coaching, systems transactions analysis, systemic transactional analysis as well as systemic structural constellations.
In 1979, she started her career as an independent organizational consultant and teaching assistant at the WU Vienna. She spent 6 years as an in-house consultant for organizational development at ORF (Austrian TV station). Since 1987, she has been active as a management consultant, starting first at Diebold/Debis in Vienna.
Since 1994, she has been a management capacity in the training and consulting industry: starting as a member of the board responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at Arthur D. Little International, thereafter authorized signatory at the AVL management and training institute in Neuhaus. 1998 - 2012, she has been the managing director of the Hernstein institute for management and leadership, an institute of WK Vienna (Chamber of Commerce). Since 2013, she leads her own consulting company “Lichtmannegger consulting – for healthy leadership”.
Her main areas of expertise are consulting in organizational development, human resource development, professionalization of management, team development of top executives, coaching executives, as well as systemic structural constellations – with a special focus on “healthy leadership”.
